Supporting the Education Movement

I started my career as a newspaper reporter, eventually working the education beat.  It made sense since my mother worked in the school system.

But during that, I spent hours upon hours in school board meetings listening to the needs of teachers, parents and students. I parsed and analyzed budget and spending proposals. And I spoke with our education leaders about their decisions, which affected our kids from small to tall.

And I have not stopped.

Our schools are in crisis mode. They have been starved for funding since 2008. And I'm running to get that money back.

That's why I think it's important to support the Red for Ed Movement, and am fully dedicating my own campaign field operations this week to gather signatures for the Invest in Ed petition in its last push. We need a solution to the education crisis and Invest in Ed petition is a good start.

So, if you care about education as I do, join us this weekend to go door-to-door to gather signatures. You can sign up here: https://www.chrisforaz.com/calendar
